Anne Frank was a German girl of Jewish origin. In 1942 she and her family went into hiding from the Nazi’s in the Netherlands. After two years she was found and sadly passed away in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. She left a diary of written stories of how life was like at the time.Her diary was later published into a book, which provides a first hand perspective on the horrors of the holocaust.
